Module 9 – Post Occupancy Evaluation

image

Module 9 was developed in part to assist the MSBA in understanding that state-funded K-12 school building projects are operating as intended and performing as designed.

Overview

The data and feedback collected as part of the Post Occupancy Evaluation (“POE”) process enables the MSBA, school districts, and the consultant community to apply lessons learned to future school building projects. The value of the MSBA’s POE process is the cumulative data it gathers and the trends it compiles. It is not intended to single out the performance of individual designers, owners, project managers, contractors, or school districts.

Data Dashboard

Selected data from the MSBA’s post occupancy evaluations is available in this interactive dashboard, which is anticipated to grow over time as the POE program’s data set expands.
